DataAnalysis Preferences
The preferences for the DataAnalysis App can be accessed via the iPad Settings
Then scroll down in the left hand section (Settings, see left side of the image on the right) to the DataAnalysis option. Clicking on this will show the DataAnalysis preferences on the right portion of the screen.
Document Storage: You can select to storage documents on the iPad or alteratively another cloud provider, such as iCloud, Dropbox, Box, OneDrive, etc. In order to use cloud storage other can iCloud, you must have the App from the vender installed.
Disable Fitting: Forces the user to enter the function paramters. Often used to teach how the parameters inflence the shape of the curves.
Default Force X/Y Axis: The App will scale the axis to maximize the spread of the data. However, often it is useful to start either the X or Y axis at zero.
Default Connect Points: When this option is on, a straight line segment is used to connect one point to the next.
Retain Fit Parameters: If you are fitting many sets of similar data it is convenient to retain the parameters from the last fit to be used as the initial parameters for the next data set.
Do Not Reset Function: Put a copy of the graph on the clipboard to allow transfer to other applications.
