Importing Data on the Clipboard
Data can be transferred into DataAalysis from the iOS Clipboard as long as the data is in a DataAnalysis compatible format. Files in either DataAnalysis format (.daes), text format (.txt) or comma separated values format (.cvs) can be imported from the clipboard. For more details see the section DataAnalysis File Formats.
The first step in importing data from the clipboard is to switch to an application that contains your data, such a Apple Pages or a plain text editor, such as QuickText.
Then return to DataAnalysis and press the + to create a document. DataAnalysis will check the clipboard and verify that the data on the clipboard is data compatible with DataAnalysis. If so, the data will be imported directly into the Data Entry spreadsheet. For here you would proceed as with any other file.
