Importing Data Files

Any files in the proper format (DataAnalysis File Format) can be imported directly from DataAnalysis.

It is highly recommended that a folder in Cloud Storage be created with the name "DataAnalysis.  In this folder, when using Cloud storage you can open a data file in native format (.daes), text format (.txt) or comma separate value format (.csv)  by simply clicking on it.

In the example below Dropbox is used, but the procedure is similar for other Cloud Storage options as long as the vendor has a iOS App.  There App much be installed on your iPad and you must be signed into your account.  You can also use iCloud for storage via the Files App.

In the example below, if you click on the file Line below, the DataAnalysis App will open and the imported data will be imported into the Data Entry Spreadsheet.

If the selected data is in either in CSV or TXT format when the DataAnalysis App opens the user has the option to save the data in native DataAnalysis format (DAES) either on the iPad or in another location, such as in Cloud Storage (see below).

The data has now been imported into the Data Entry Spreadsheet and is ready for future processing.
